Here I am

Well, I just managed to erase an entire entry...oops! The jist of it: I am well, feeling good at my mom's, and just happy to be 2-3 days post surgery. I took a shower and that made a world of difference. The pain isn't terrible, more itchy than anything else. I know this recouping thing would not be possible without all of your help and I thank you from the bottom of my heart! I promise to pay it forward. Now, with Danny's amazing chicken soup in my belly, and Starbuck's coffee ice cream with mom's hot fudge sauce to top it off, I am in good shape! Thank you all for for every wish, thought, prayer, flower, goodie, drywalling expertise and baby sitting shift! I love you all! Ash

Hi Ashley, We just wanted you to know that we've been thinking of you and wishing you well through this whole process. You are such a strong and brave woman! We are in Virginia for several weeks but will follow your progress with the blog and look forward to seeing you in December.
Nothing heals better than mom, family, friends and chicken soup!
All our love,
Janet and David

UMA!!!
Hope each day is better than the one before it as you heal...
You can wear my glasses for dress-up if you want! I'm glad not to wear them as I was beginning to get Sarah Palinitis....whenever I put my hair up and put those glasses on!!!!EEEEKKKK
Rest, sleep, and enjoy your family.
When I said you were a ROCK STAR I meant it. Even when you were feeling really poorly at the hospital, you were still smiling at the nurses and thanking them even when you were half asleep. You are incredible.
And we all love you. Krimmels5!!!!!

Hi Ashley,

Fred and I are so happy to hear that you are doing so well. You have the right attitude-that is the best treatment. Sorry to have taken so long to follow your blog-it took me a while to get it. Holly gave it to me this morning.

The worst is behind you-just continue to think positive. If you should need to have radiation, I have done this route twice now and I had absolutely no problems with it; the DHMC team is the best. I love them all over there. We are thinking of you often and wish you the best success every step of the way. Looking forward to seeing you. Call me anytime.
